Mobile App Information Collection (CENTRIC)

When you use our CENTRIC mobile application, we collect minimal information to provide you with workout timing services:

App Usage Information

  • Source of collection: collected automatically when you use the app
  • Disclosure: shared with Apple App Store Connect for analytics purposes only

Device Information (App)

  • Examples of information collected: device type, operating system version, app version
  • Purpose of collection: to ensure app compatibility and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Source of collection: collected automatically when you use the app
  • Disclosure: shared with Apple for app distribution and analytics

Apple Watch Integration

  • Examples of information collected: haptic feedback preferences, workout session timing
  • Purpose of collection: to provide synchronized timing between your iPhone and Apple Watch
  • Source of collection: collected when you use Apple Watch features
  • Storage: all data remains on your device; we do not collect or store this information on our servers

Important Note About App Data: CENTRIC is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect personal identifiers, workout data, or sync information to external servers. All your workout information stays on your device. We do not share app usage data with third parties except as required for basic app store functionality.

Website Information Collection

When you visit our websites (goprotecht.com, protechtwraps.com), we collect certain information about your device, your interaction with the sites, and information necessary to process purchases. We may also collect additional information if you contact us for customer support. In this Privacy Policy, we refer to any information that can uniquely identify an individual (including the information below) as "Personal Information".

Device Information (Website)

  • Examples of Personal Information collected: version of web browser, IP address, time zone, cookie information, what sites or products you view, search terms, and how you interact with the sites
  • Purpose of collection: to load the sites accurately for you, and to perform analytics on site usage to optimize our websites

Order Information

  • Examples of Personal Information collected: name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number
  • Purpose of collection: to provide products or services to you to fulfill our contract, process your payment information, arrange for shipping, provide you with invoices and/or order confirmations, communicate with you, screen our orders for potential risk or fraud, and when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services

Customer Support Information

  • Examples of Personal Information collected: Name, Email Address, Home Address, Payment Information
  • Purpose of collection: to provide customer support

Minors

Our websites are not intended for individuals under the age of 16. Our CENTRIC app is rated 4+ and may be used by minors with parental supervision. We do not intentionally collect Personal Information from children. If you are the parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us at the address below to request deletion.

Sharing Personal Information

We share your Personal Information with service providers to help us provide our services and fulfill our contracts with you, as described above. For example:

  • For our mobile app, we share minimal technical data with Apple for app store functionality

Behavioural Advertising (Website Only)

Note: Our mobile app does not engage in behavioral advertising or tracking.

As described above, we use your Personal Information from our websites to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. For example:

  • Improve our app and website functionality

Lawful Basis

Pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), if you are a resident of the European Economic Area ("EEA"), we process your personal information under the following lawful bases:

Retention

  • Website data: When you place an order through our websites, we will retain your Personal Information for our records unless and until you ask us to erase this information
  • App data: We retain minimal app analytics data for up to 2 years for improvement purposes. Your workout data is not collected or stored by us

Automatic Decision-Making

If you are a resident of the EEA, you have the right to object to processing based solely on automated decision-making (which includes profiling), when that decision-making has a legal effect on you or otherwise significantly affects you.

We do not engage in fully automated decision-making that has a legal or otherwise significant effect using customer data.

Our processor Shopify uses limited automated decision-making to prevent fraud that does not have a legal or otherwise significant effect on you.
