I had seen ads on Facebook regarding protech wraps and was curious what type of protection they provided to watches. I do not actively lift but I work full time as a paramedic on ambulance and frequently bump my watch climbing in and out of the ambulance. I have a clear cover around the edges and a liquid glass protector on it. But I wanted something more to ensure I could prevent scratches. Mr Steven happened to see my message and reached out to me personally and was willing to answer all my questions and took in good feedback. As I mentioned to him this could a great wrap for EMS providers, just a bit large in overall size. Obviously that wasn’t what the product was designed for, but gave him thoughts for further designs.
The Protect Wrap gives me as much support as my regular wrist wraps, and I love that I don't have to take off my watch -- great design. I accidentally ordered the wrong size, and quickly emailed the company. They got back to me almost immediately, with a remarkably friendly reply, and fixed my order before sending it out. I really appreciate that kind of service when shopping online for a new/unknown product.
At first the wrap was stiff and hard to put on. Now that I have used it for at least 12 hours, it is working great. Much easier to put on and fits great. I use it to play tennis, I play everyday with this wrap and I use an apple watch. I wouldn't be able to play without this wrap due to my wrist issues.
A bit difficult to get on compared to other wraps. But other wraps do not have the watch support. Once on it works great. I ordered a large and I don’t have a large wrist but it is challenging to get the short strap thru the buckle. I use it for tennis
Hey Luiz - Cool to hear that you use it for Tennis! I know it's a little tricky to put on when it's first getting broken in. As you might've seen in other review replies its because the product needs a few uses to mold over and shape to your wrist. I'm going to email you and see if there's any other suggestions you might have as we work on improving the product.
In the next round, we hope to solve this with a longer red PROTECHT pull tab, but ultimately the elastic will be short because we don't want the elastic to interfere with the watch hole.
